Bellofram’s BELLOFOAM™ silicone sponge sheets are designed to meet the needs of industries requiring lightweight, high-performance sealing and insulating materials. These closed cell silicone rubber sheets are engineered to provide dependable performance across a wide range of demanding environments — delivering consistent results where moisture resistance, thermal stability, and compression recovery are critical.

A defining feature of BELLOFOAM™ is its closed-cell structure, verified using the ASTM D-1056 water absorption under vacuum method. This ensures the material eliminates wicking, making it ideal for applications where water or fluid exposure is a concern. The silicone foam rubber construction is optimized to operate continuously between -85°F and +400°F, maintaining flexibility and resilience even under extreme temperature fluctuations.

Manufactured using a high-consistency formulation, BELLOFOAM™ provides foam rubber sheeting with excellent compression set resistance and mechanical strength. The material is skived from buns and can be supplied in a variety of thicknesses — from 0.125” to 2.00”. Alternatively, customers can choose to skive the buns into sheets using their own equipment.

To meet diverse application needs, BELLOFOAM™ sheets are offered in three different ASTM D-1056 hardness levels. Other versions include enhanced fire-retardant additives to meet UL 94 V-0 standards, suitable for applications with strict flame resistance requirements. Another variant provides fluorosilicone sponge properties, compliant with AMS 3323, for improved resistance to chemicals and fuels. These options allow BELLOFOAM™ to perform reliably in both general-purpose and specialized environments.
